The Role

You will oversee technology development projects related to Lynk's satellites and wireless payloads. Managing RF systems technical projects requires you to guide efforts from concept to product realization, working across multi-functional teams and following Lynk's Technology Roadmap.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple RF systems projects spanning concept generation through product realization in wireless communications.
  • Coordinate with project sponsors and senior team members to define and budget new technology development efforts.
  • Work with technology leads to define projects at task level, including task duration, dependencies, and resource loading to create measurable schedules.
  • Own cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk management for assigned projects.
  • Serve as primary interface to project sponsors, senior leaders, and stakeholders on project status and performance.
  • Interact regularly with suppliers and subcontractors on technology development projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, or relevant technical field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years industry experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Project Management role.
  • Technical understanding and experience with RF system development projects, including RFFE design and test, antenna design and test, and digital beamforming system design and test.
  • Knowledge of processes, tools, and metrics for project monitoring, control, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience as Technical Lead or Project Manager in the RF domain is a plus.
  • Experience transitioning technologies from design concept to functioning product is a plus.
  • Exposure to government programs and current active security clearance is a plus.

To comply with U.S. export control regulations, applicants must be: a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158. Individuals who do not meet these criteria must be eligible to obtain authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
