Your Tasks

  • Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Development: Support the design, development, and testing of avionics hardware
  • Prototyping and Testing: Design and validate prototype hardware, including 3D-printed parts, machined components, and prototype circuits
  • Engineering Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical reports, schematics, and development documentation
  • Systems Design: Contribute to the design of electrical wiring harnesses, pneumatic systems, and mechatronic subsystems
  • Lifecycle Management: Assist in tracking avionics hardware from prototyping through testing to production
  • Production and Testing Support: Help optimize avionics hardware production and testing processes
  • Test Procedure Development: Contribute to cost- and time-efficient testing methodologies
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with systems engineering, software, and mechanical design teams
  • Risk Analysis and Troubleshooting: Identify risks and implement solutions to improve system reliability and performance

 

Your Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Strong motivation to work in the New Space sector and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects
  • Technical knowledge in either mechanical or electrical hardware design
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Hands-on experience with avionics hardware is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks under tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), as all day-to-day activities are conducted in English

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

Meeting one or more of the following will help determine the best fit within the team:
  • Aerospace Experience: Participation in student rocketry, CubeSat/satellite teams, or similar projects
  • Electronics Design: Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, LTSpice)
  • Mechanical Design: Proficiency in CAD software (NX preferred)
  • Communication Protocols: Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, SPI, or similar systems
  • Embedded Systems: Basic knowledge of RTOS
  • Electromechanical Systems: Experience with BLDC motors, encoders, drivers, and sensors
  • Testing & Validation: Experience using oscilloscopes, DAQs, or LabVIEW (a plus)
